Imagine a world where refund is not possible. It is really not going to be a palatable one. However, knowing you can request for a refund but not knowing how to go about it formally can be very disheartening.
For a person to claim his or her refund, there will be need to write formally to the concerned personnel stating clearly the reasons for such request. However, there are many reasons for requesting for refund depending on the kind of services or products initially purchased. Example is when you mistakenly ordered a product and has cancelled the processing but was not credited.
In writing a refund request letter, the first thing that needs to be in place is the purpose of the letter. It can either be a reclaim of the services offered in a much better quality or a complete refund of the earlier charges. The second thing to do is to state your dissatisfaction very clearly and is it has to do with products, there will be need to state the product name or model.

In requesting for refund the tone of the language used should be a humble one and not exerting. As much as possible, the statements (especially the reason for the refunds) should be very clear and transparent to remove any shadow of doubt.
As stated earlier, there are many reasons for a person to request of refund, and in this article, examples of these requests will be explored giving a template that can be downloaded a used for same reason. The content of the letter as much as possible will give the picture of the scenario that warrant the request.
One of the scenarios that could warrant a refund request letter is if your wife (or partner or family) paid your medical bill not knowing you have a health insurance with your employer.
